The balloon decals are made of vinyl and have a self-adhesive backing with semi-permanent adhesion. They adhere well to all smooth surfaces. Avoid placing wall stickers on thin wallpaper or delicate surfaces. On other surfaces, the decals can be removed without leaving any adhesive residue on the surface.
