The Duktig hob exactly matches the dimensions of the hob included in IKEA's Duktig play kitchen. It gives you the opportunity to change the look of this part of the kitchen as well, making everything fit together. Perfect if you are renovating an old kitchen where the hob has become scratched, or if you accidentally got paint on the hob when you went wild with spray paint!
The hob for the Duktig kitchen is designed so that the parts of the stove burners that light up when your child turns on the stove are still visible when the decal is installed. The outer edge of the burners will appear black as the black surface of the original hob is visible in this part of the decal.
The hob decal is available in four lovely colours with a stylish matte finish: silver, gold, black and white.
The Duktig hob comes with an application film attached to the surface of the design to ensure that all individual parts are correctly positioned during installation. Instructions for how to apply wall stickers are included. Remember to clean the old surface of the hob before applying the new decal, and be careful to align the decal so that it is straight and the cut-outs for the hob's knobs and illuminated parts are correctly positioned. If small air bubbles get trapped under the decal, try to push them towards the nearest edge or puncture them with a thin needle!
